Privacy Policy

Spartan Code · Published by 4DAT LLC · Last updated: July 27, 2026

Spartan Code ("the App") is a private, on-device reflective journal for iOS and Android, published by 4DAT LLC. This policy explains what data the App collects, stores, and how it is handled.

What data the App collects

What data the App does NOT collect

In-App Purchases

The App currently contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads. If optional one-time unlocks are offered in a future update, all purchase transactions would be processed entirely by Apple through the App Store (iOS) or by Google through Google Play (Android); the App would not collect or store any payment information.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 17+ due to mature content themes related to combat, military service, and post-traumatic reflection. The App is not directed at children under 17 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Data storage and security

All data is stored locally on your device. Data is not backed up to any external server controlled by this App. If you have device backup enabled (iCloud Backup on iOS, or Google's device backup on Android), the operating system may include App data in your personal backup, governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy respectively.

Your control over data

You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App; on iOS you can also use the in-app Privacy tab (Delete All Local Data). Deleting the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
